Team Effort, Incorporated is recognized in the golfing industry as a leader in the creative design of licensed golf accessories. Team Effort was founded in 1989 in Clarion, Iowa, with one college license and one collegiate mascot headcover. By 1993, the company was licensed with 85 universities and colleges offering 13 different products.

Team Effort has its operations, sales, embroidery, screen-printing, and warehouse facilities in Clarion, Iowa. In 2006, Team Effort opened a National Sales Management Office in West Des Moines, Iowa with the goal of expanding Team Effort’s presence in the marketplace. Currently, Team Effort is licensed with 100 universities and colleges and has ranked in the top 25 of non-apparel licensees with Collegiate Licensing Company (CLC) of Atlanta, which is the largest collegiate licensing agency in the country.

In 1991, Team Effort began The Team Effort Challenge in support of university and college golf programs throughout the United States. When a Golf Professional carries one of our Team Effort Collegiate Mascot Headcovers all 72 holes of a PGA TOUR event or one of the four Major Golf Tournaments and wins, Team Effort will donate $1000 to that player’s former university or college golf program. Through its continued support for over 15 years, Team Effort has contributed over $37,000 to various university and college golf programs.

In June of 1994, Team Effort became the exclusive golf accessory licensee for Nike Golf. Under this agreement, Team Effort manufactures and markets golf accessories that bear the Nike Golf Design Trademark and Swoosh Design Trademark. 2001 brought the expansion of the Nike Golf accessories line to include the Tiger Woods Design Trademark. The Learning System product line for junior golfers was added in 2004.

In 1996, Team Effort signed a licensing agreement with the PGA TOUR and its properties, under which Team Effort manufactures and markets golf accessories that bear the PGA TOUR, Champions Tour and Nationwide Tour trademarks.

In October 2003, Team Effort became a preferred distributor of officially licensed NFL and MLB golf accessories by McArthur Sports. 2003 also saw Team Effort’s addition of a licensing agreement with the USGA.

In 2005, Team Effort signed a licensing agreement with Churchill Downs and the Kentucky Derby.
