TaylorMade Golf Equipment for the best in top quality!
A golf equipment salesman named Gary Adams took out a $24,000 loan on his home in the spring of 1979 and renting a 6,000 square-foot building that at one time housed a television assembly plant. There he founded the TaylorMade Golf Company.
Counting him, there were three employees and a single, innovative product: a 12-degree driver cast out of stainless steel. This new metal-wood looked and sounded different from any wooden wood on the market, and most important, it performed differently.
The stainless steel clubs head had perimeter-weighting that offered greater forgiveness on mis-hits, while the lower center of gravity made it easier to launch the ball in the air. These TaylorMade clubs maintained true ties to what experienced golfers perceived an authentic golf club should look and feel like. Club designs were committed to combining innovation with authenticity. The designers were always passionate about the game, and pledged to be as competitive as possible, and to work hard to establish the business and make it grow. This is how they have become a dominant force today
The same values singled out 30 years ago by Gary Adams are still revered and practiced today at TaylorMade, as well as their sister companies adidas Golf and Ashworth. They continue their drive to deliver products that help players of all skill levels reach their potential.
Their mission has remained the same since 1979: Create the Best Performing Golf Products in the World. TaylorMade, Adidas, Ashworth, Golf Brands
TaylorMade features a complete line of offerings for PGA Professionals as well as the novice and beginner golfer.
